Our journey began in a 1920s cottage tucked "Beneath the Pines" in Edgecomb, Maine. In this quiet corner of the world, time slows down to the rhythm of the tides and the distant hum of lobster boats hauling their catch. We fell in love with the glimpses of the sea and the bracing scent of the salt air.
When winter arrived with its frozen pipes and flickering power lines, we found ourselves huddled by candlelight, dreaming of the Maine summer. We realized then that we didn't just want light—we wanted to bring the coast back indoors. Seawicks was born from that craving: a mission to capture the essence of Maine’s rugged beauty in every hand-poured jar.

Today, every Seawicks candle is hand-poured right here on the coast of Maine. By keeping our production seaside, we ensure that every jar carries the authentic spirit of the North Atlantic.
